How it's calculated
We apply a simple MOS bias correction based on the last week of observations to reduce systematic drift. It is still a planning aid, not a minute-by-minute local guarantee.

How it's calculated
Each row sums up a whole day at the island's municipal reference. AEMET splits the first days into periods and publishes only the full day for the later ones.

How it's calculated
Each value is the forecast daily maximum. AEMET does not provide a peak time in this product.
With All Canary Islands, each day shows the highest value across island references, which may come from different islands.

How to read this forecast
Daily and hourly forecasts are shown separately from current observations. On station pages, the future series is rendered with a dashed line so present conditions and prediction never collapse into the same signal; on the main map you can scrub from -24 h to +72 h.
For the Canary Islands, this phase uses CAMS global guidance as the operational fallback because the current official documentation for the regional product places its southern boundary at 30°N, which excludes the archipelago.
The island table shows the average across available stations on each island for PM2.5, PM10, NO₂ and O₃. When enough recent history is available, we prioritise the locally corrected version and keep raw CAMS guidance for auditability.
This table can be scrolled horizontally with the keyboard or touch gestures.
