Which cookies and similar technologies we use on this site and why, in accordance with art. 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE.

Technical cookies and storage

Aire Canarias only uses technical or functional storage that is necessary to provide the website and remember preferences you choose. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The table lists the current cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, Cache Storage and Push API uses.

Third parties

No third-party tracking cookies or scripts are loaded. Base map tiles are served from OpenFreeMap/OpenStreetMap and, when the optional satellite basemap or the daily GIBS layer is turned on, the browser also makes technical requests to Esri/ArcGIS or NASA EOSDIS / GIBS domains to fetch imagery. Satellite now (Meteosat-12) is served to the browser from Aire Canarias routes and the server queries EUMETSAT. We do not use those requests for advertising tracking nor add our own persistent identifiers.

Analytics

No analytics are active. If a measurement tool is enabled in the future, it must be self-hosted or equivalent, privacy-respecting, without cookies or personal identifiers unless a prior legal review allows otherwise, and this policy will be updated before activation.

Management and withdrawal

You can delete cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage and Cache Storage through your browser settings. Doing so will reset language, island scope, cookie notice state, install-prompt preference, map/layer preferences, chart-summary state, the last comparator comparison, local notification preferences and saved offline copies, but you will still be able to use the site normally. If you had enabled Web Push alerts, you can also disable them from the website or from your browser permissions.
